Lambswool Jumpers

Here at Wool Overs, we endeavour to find the finest quality products at the best possible prices. Our beautiful range of Lambswool Jumpers illustrates the fact that, although our garments vary from range to range, we continue to supply only the top quality luxurious Lambswool jumpers you would expect: classic British Lambswool Jumpers made from deliciously soft British Lambswool.

  Jumpers
Did you Know the word ‘Jumper’ is thought to derive from the French word ‘Jupe’? This means “a woman's jacket or blouse”. First recorded by The Oxford English Dictionary in 1907, the word Jumper meant, “a type of loose outer jacket or shirt”. Today the word Jumper describes a loose garment which is often pulled over the head and worn over other clothes. It is about hip length, but not usually tucked in at the waist.

Although there are now many designs and types of garments that could be called jumpers, you can be sure of one thing: these beautifully soft, form-fitting and subtle pure Lambswool jumpers, which sleekly define the modern silhouette in classic lines, make excellent additions to any wardrobe.

There are now many designs and types of garments which could be called jumpers, but few rival the softness, form-fitting and subtlety of a Lambswool jumper.

  Lambswool
The first, or virgin wool of lambs, is usually sheared at about seven months. The elastic, soft, resilient fibres are ideal for use at the top end of the textile industry. Lambswool, once processed, goes to make the softest and finest quality wool available. Luxurious, yet not ostentatious, you can't beat Wool Overs’ spectacular range of Lambswool jumpers for both quality and price. These are premium jumpers, robust and built for the British winter. They will wash well and always look great, on both men and women.
