  Cashmere Cardigans
Cashmere garments came to light and became popular way back in the 1920s, this was due to famous fashion designers Coco Chanel and Jean Patou recognising it as being a highly desirable and exclusive yarn to design clothes with. The warmth and softness that cashmere provides made it perfect for all knitwear for women and men alike. The popularity of cashmere cardigans increased sometime in the 1950s, when movie actors, such as the famous Grace Kelly, immortalised the unique cashmere cardigans.

What with the British weather being as unreliable as it is, the best way to stay comfortable is to add extra layers. Cashmere adapts to the atmosphere well, our range of cashmere cardigans will keep you warm and cosy in the cold winter, but won't be too warm either for those lazy evenings in the summer.

Cashmere is one of the most luxurious wools in the world, providing both light-weight warmth as well as having a unique softness. The wool that is from the cashmere goat has a very high moisture content which makes it ideal for any climate situation. To be able to qualify for the name cashmere all fibres must never be no more than 19 microns in diameter, only then is it genuine.
